This week, the Entertainer of the Year tried her hand at the Aerosmith and Yungblud song "Wild Woman", the third track on their collaborative EP. The EP marks Aerosmith's first release in 12 years and includes a number of new tunes, as well as new renditions of classic hits.

On Monday, Yungblud and Aerosmith teased Lainey's feature on Instagram, saying, "There was a cowgirl who loved this song so much that we had to add her on! Can you guess who?" Later that week, the rock artists got on the phone with Wilson, unveiling her as their mystery country voice.

Yungblud expressed excitement for the song in a press release. "I'm really hyped to have Lainey Wilson jump on this record with us. I have been a fan of her for a while," he shared. "Her life story is truly inspirational. With this record, we really needed a female vocalist who could carry it with the level of authenticity that Lainey embodies. We needed a wild woman, and we for sure got one!"

Who Is Yungblud?

Dominic Harrison, better known as Yungblud, has collaborated with everyone under the sun, including Blackbear, Marshmello, Imagine Dragons, and even rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away earlier this year.

His connection with Aerosmith stemmed from his 2025 album Idols, on which he released the song "Hello Heaven, Hello". The band members of Aerosmith immediately fell in love with the 9-minute track and felt encouraged to connect with Harrison by their manager's son. While they had initially planned to do a remix version of Yungblud's song, the group ended up writing a song together in under 55 minutes, titled "My Only Angel", and the rest was history.

The young star expressed gratitude for the collaboration, calling it a "huge f**king honor' to get to work with the

rock legends. "Aerosmith have been such a staple of rock and roll and showmanship for me," he explained, "so I've been ready for this my whole life... As soon as we entered the studio, the chemistry exploded, and the songs just poured out of us... Steven and Joe are at the top of their game."
