Country is typically dominated by the men in the industry. There's such a disparity that, every once in a while, it rustles some feathers and becomes a hot button topic. For every woman that achieves superstar status, you can account for a handful of mediocre guys too. Consequently, the ladies usually tend to stick together. Elder stateswomen like Reba and Dolly Parton or seasoned veterans like Carrie Underwood lend their hefty cosigns to the newer generations. Lainey Wilson is definitely the biggest of the newer female country singers and the red carpet has been laid out accordingly.

However, slowly but surely, more women are carving their niche in country too. The music is usually just as good as the guys as well. Acts like Ella Langley and Megan Moroney have skyrocketed in popularity over the last few years. The former even headlines the ACM Awards with the most nominations for the night. Rather than remain standoffish to her contemporaries, Lainey decides to pay it forward by giving the two hot artists some advice of her own.
Lainey Wilson Lends Sage Advice to Hottest Female Country Artists
Recently, the "4x4xU" singer spoke with IHeartCountry Radio ahead of the ACM Awards. There, Wilson opens up about her friendships with Ella Langley and Megan Moroney respectively. Ultimately, she stresses to the pair to really salivate the big moments in their careers. Don't take any of it for granted because it's not promised. "I'm buddies with Megan Moroney (and) Ella Langley, and to watch their stars just soaring, it's really, really cool to see," Lainey says.
"And at times, I wanna just pour out as much as I possibly can to them and be like, 'don't you miss this moment,' you know? 'Be present. Do whatever you gotta do to soak it in and celebrate these times, and then get ready for the next one because it's going to be right around the corner quicker than you can even realize it just happened,'" Lainey continues.
Additionally, Wilson wants Langley and Moroney to block out all the noise that comes with the industry. At the end of the day, they have to remember all the hard work that got them here. "So, my advice to them is really just to keep your head down and work hard. Acknowledge that their hard work has gotten them to this point," Lainey says. "Not letting the voices of the world get them down."
