Lainey Wilson and Duck Hodges have been dating for years, and in recent months there has been chatter of proposal. The country singer even said recently that she may have to propose herself, and even more recently, Duck made a cheeky joke about Wilson wearing white.
With Valentine's Day on the horizon, and after all this build-up, it seems Duck couldn't wait any longer and popped the question yesterday. Lainey Wilson announced the news on her Instagram, writing "4x4xU forever," referencing the song she wrote for Duck.
She shared four photos and a silly video, where she allowed an up-close glimpse of her large engagement ring. By the looks of one photo, it seems the ring box was shaped like a cowboy hat, which is as hilarious as it is endearing.
Everyone is delighted for the happy fiancés and made sure to congratulate them.
