Country Singer Lauren Alaina Expecting A Baby
Alaina was a runner-up during the singing competition's 10th season and has released three studio albums. She released her music video for Those Kind Of Women on January 22 where many clues were leading up to the announcement.
The video showcased a young pregnant woman getting ready to have her first child. Alaina wrote the song in tribute to the strong women in her life. We know this since she admitted to it during her first performance of the song on Christmas Eve 2024.
You quickly get the sense that it's a representation of Alaina's mother preparing for her birth. While Alaina appears in the background singing the song, the blonde woman who resembles her circles the name 'Lauren' on a chalkboard.
Further into it, the child depicting the singer is a bit older and is trying on wedding dresses. It then cuts to Alaina herself trying on the dress on her wedding day, hugging her mother after looking in the mirror.
The clue that leads to Alaina's pregnancy announcement is the singer and her mother preparing a baby's room. One of the final shots of the video reveals Alaina's pregnant belly. At the very end, words pop up saying "This video is dedicated to my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025."
This creative pregnancy announcement has already garnered over 57,000 views on YouTube and nearly 2,000 likes. The comments were filled with thrilled fans congratulating Alaina and the wonderful song.
"A most beautiful song," one comment wrote. "I was raised by those kind of women. Thank you for sharing your most talented + beautiful range of voice, Lauren Alaina."
The announcement arrives nearly one year after Alaina and her husband married. The newlyweds held their ceremony in Nashville on February 4, 2024.
