If I have said it once I will say it a thousand times, good always prevails — and this instance is no different. While the beginning of this story is daunting, the end is truly heartwarming. McAloon's Liquors, a liquor store in Massachusetts, was recently targeted and broken into. On December 29, the owner of the store, Bill Buco, shared an Instagram video of the damage.

The video clearly shows the destruction that the vandals caused. Broken bottles litter every isle, alcohol is spilled across the floor, and various objects are broken. The NY Post shares that the vandals destroyed about "$250,000 worth of booze."

Buco stated, " Someone in their brilliant mind decided to come in last night and trash the store, for what reason I don't know." He shows various isles in his store that were destroyed, but overall maintains a relatively positive attitude. He ensures he wishes his viewers happy holidays and admits that this is not the worst thing that has happened to him.

However, he did ask the community's help with one thing. He admitted that he and his staff are trying to figure out who did this to his store. Then he asked his followers, "If you have any ideas please don't hesitate to help us." Well, the community and his neighbors definitely came together, and they did more than just try to figure out who caused the damage.

Neighbors Come Together To Clean It

While it may not have been the worst thing to happen to Mr. Buco, it sure was not a joyous occasion. He assumed that with the amount of damage caused, he would need to hire a professional cleaning crew to take care of the mess.

However, he shared with NBC10 that the next thing her knew, "50 people are here shoveling stuff, cleaning stuff." All of his neighbors and the local community came together to clean his liquor store. Buco continued to praise the people and love in the town saying, "The love in this town is incredible."

Many patrons rushed to his defense online as well. After seeing the damage, one user commented, "Community clean up?! We'll come! Ugh so sorry guys."

Another added, "OMG Billy!! I'm so so sorry.. this is terrible.. who would do such a horrible thing... anything you need you call us... ?"

Here are just a handful of the supportive comments that Buco and his staff received.

"SO MESSED UP!! This business is run by wonderful people. No one deserves to have their business ransacked like this, but especially not these great guys! ? wish I was there to help clean up!'

"'ll help clean up!!!!!?."

"Omg!! So sorry. I was I there last week and saw all the new construction you've done. What a shame."

Good Wins In The End

Despite the damage caused by the vandals who broke into the store, Mr. Buco remains optimistic. In large part thanks to the neighbors who helped clean up his liquor store. He shared another video on his Instagram thanking all of those who came to his aid.

He states, "As bad as this was, the beauty of what I am seeing now buries what happened. " The comments on that video continue the love. It is clear that this community is one tight-knit group and that even something as daunting as vandals destroying your store isn't enough to stop them from coming together. Hopefully the vandals take a page out of the community's book and learn to lead with a bit more love and positivity.
