Carrie Underwood, for her inauguration performance, didn't exactly have the smoothest of shows in her life, but at least her long list of demands will have softened the blow. I guess she didn't do it purely for the patriotism in her heart.

It's already been widely reported by insider that Underwood threw a bit of a tantrum after her show didn't go to plan. After the whole inauguration was moved inside, a number of the artists had technical issues. For Billy Ray Cyrus it all became too much and he short-fused, seemingly unable to perform at all.
For Carrie Underwood, her time to shine was somewhat diminished by being cramped and having to sing acapella. Rather than see this as a chance to show her worth, she felt like she was undermined. But, this wasn't the beginning of the diva Underwood behavior, judging by her alleged demands for the show.
Underwood Demands An Entourage
According to the insider, Underwood made many demands for the big day. She seemed to forget it wasn't all about her and was really for President Trump. A DailyMail insider laid it all out for us.
"She hired an army of security, was requesting a handmade designer dress for the performance, and demanded she be allowed a team of 20. She of course demanded tickets for her family and friends on top of that as well." For someone who made their fame through a televised talent show, she is a little ahead of herself.
I thought she had decided to play the inauguration because she was a proud patriot. It appears it was her list of demands that convinced Underwood to play instead. I can't blame her myself, I would also use the opportunity to milk.
But, in a statement addressing a lot of the backlash she received for playing at the inauguration, Underwood said "I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event. I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future." I don't know if 'Humble' and an entourage of 20 with a designer dress go hand in hand, but you do you.
