The country music community is mourning the loss of the legendary Loretta Lynn, who passed away at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. on Oct. 4.

"We've been like sisters all the years we've been in Nashville and she was a wonderful human being, wonderful talent, had millions of fans and I'm one of them," Dolly Parton shared in a statement. "I miss her dearly as we all will."

"The world lost a legend. We lost a sister," Crystal Gayle wrote. "Love you Loretta."
"Mama and Loretta Lynn were four years apart, Mama being the oldest. They always reminded me a lot of each other.
