Luke Bryan and Luke Combs have had a very public friendship, something most country fans find endearing. Their most recent friendship stunt was swapping their watches.

It turns out the pair are watch collectors, and must really enjoy telling the time. So it's no wonder they shared their love for time-telling by giving each other a watch from their collection.
Luke Bryan's show, It's All Country has recently been released on Hulu, a show where the country superstar speaks to country artists about their stories and passion for the craft. It's no wonder, then, that the first episode features the other Luke in the industry - Luke Combs.
As best friends do, the pair were playing catch in the Nissan Stadium in Nashville. They were chatting about all manner of things, although stop their game to address the camera.
"By the way," Bryan starts, "he texted me at 5:50 am this morning, now I'm like, 'Are we still filming today?'"
"We were planning a watch swap. Which is where you take watches out of your collection and you swap 'em," Bryan then spells out.
Combs confirms the happenings with a concise, "Yep."
That was the start of the next magical milestone for their friendship.
Luke Bryan And Luke Combs Become Best Friends Forever By Swapping Watches
"So, we swapped. It's kind of like a purse," Bryan continued. After sharing a confused look with Combs, Bryan asks, "Well, what do girls swap? Friendship bracelets?"
"I feel like they share each other's clothing," Combs chimes in. "But we can't do that — obviously, size is gonna be an issue there." That one joke is more proof of friendship than a watch swap in my eyes.
"You can wear mine, I can't wear yours," Combs adds as the pair hug out their laughter.
To be fair, the watches also probably had to swap a few links for the exchange to work. Does this make the watches best friends, too?
Despite their tale, they never show off what watches got swapped, which is a real shame. We could have judged who likes who more through which watches they decided to sacrifice. It also would have determined who the best Luke is in country music, objectively.
I guess we'll never know.
