Luke Bryan's "Country Song Came On"
Bryan's career is continuing to be at an all-time high. The song on Bryan's latest Mind of a Country Boy record. The song is also the title of his upcoming tour, which kicks off on May 29 in Bethel, New York.
"'Country Song Came On' is like a honky tonk gem for me," Bryan explains. "When I heard it, I was like, it brings me back to the days when I was playing a lot of honky tonks early in my career. And the fact that I was able to put ETC, which is a nod to Earl Thomas Conley, one of my favorite artists ever, just makes me smile every time I hear it. And this song will definitely make you want to drink a draft beer."
Bryan has had 31 No. 1 hits, which is why it is a bit surprising that he thinks his best days might be in the past.
"Every artist hits their peak. I was selling out football stadiums first day, [the] three or four years I did it. I know that's my peak, probably," Bryan also says on The Joe Rogan Experience. "I'm not even gonna say probably. I know it is. I'm a realist."
