Luke Bryan Smacked in the Face by Flying Beer Can While Singing “Country Girl”

While singing his hit song, "Country Girl", Luke Bryan recently got hit in the face by a flying beer can at his concert.

This summer has been one to remember when it comes to music, but not just because of the artists that are making it. For one, at the Morgan Wallen concert in Glendale, fans reportedly threw objects onto the stage in an attempt to get autographs from the singer. And just over the weekend, country singer Koe Wetzel got a beer can thrown at his guitar by an overexcited fan. So far this summer, singer Luke Bryan was just about the only one who had made it out unscathed, until now.

At his July 26 concert in North Dakota this weekend, Bryan was up at the front of the stage singing "Country Girl" when, in the middle of the chorus, a chew can came flying out of nowhere aimed directly at his face. After the can hit Bryan in the forehead, the singer had to stop and take a second to recompose himself before moving forward with the song.

Luckily, fans in the crowd already knew every word to the No. 4 Billboard hit, so they were able to keep the song moving along while Bryan took a second to breathe. After wiping a disappointed look on his face, he continued singing like a pro, just in time for the second chorus.

Fans on social media responded with outrage and embarrassment, with some saying, "Why are you there if you are going to do that?" and others saying, "As somebody from North Dakota, this is so disappointing to see."

Knowing Luke Bryan, he's probably not letting anything like a silly beer stop him from having a better time than anyone else at his own show. Just a few weekends ago, Bryan was seen in South Carolina making fun of the Coldplay incident at his concert.

"Who's here with their secretary tonight?" he joked while the cameras turned to show the audience. "There they are!"

At a show in Akron, Ohio, the singer even paused his set to poke fun at his close friend, singer Riley Green. While playing piano, Bryan said, "This is my attempt to be Riley Green," flipped back his hair dramatically, and flexed a few muscles before continuing his set. "I get it, ladies, I would do him too."

Even though the flying beer can would throw off some performers, not Luke Bryan! The five-time entertainer of the year is just here to have a good time, and we can't wait to see what antics he'll be up to next!
