Luke Combs took the Grand Ole Opry stage during the 2021 ACM Awards to deliver a heartfelt performance of his song "Forever After All." The song was written by Combs, Rob Williford, and Drew Parker and was inspired by the country star's wife, Nicole Hocking. Apparently, the song was the very first Combs wrote after moving in with his longtime love, which makes it even more romantic than the touching lyrics.

The song was released on Combs' album What You See Ain't Always What You Get, the deluxe version of What You See Is What You Get. During his performance, Combs was dressed to the nines, a nice way to honor the more serious nature of the song. A noticeable difference between wearing his typical baseball cap paired with a red solo cup that tends to accompany him onstage.
