Luke Combs Is Already Dreading The Day His Kids Find Out He's Famous

We've all seen what can happen to kids who grow up with rich and famous parents. The money, spotlight, and constant attention can create some pretty weird people. That's why Luke Combs is worried about his two little kids finding out he's famous.

Every so often, the child of a famous person will pop up, either making a fool of themselves or being the untalented product of nepotism. Some use their parents' shadow to shoehorn into entertainment, while others just go off the rails.

It must be difficult for a caring parent like Luke Combs to manage his fame and family. He has two little kids. One is 2-and-a-half, and the other is 1-and-a-half years old. They're still totally oblivious to their dad's fame, but it'll dawn at some point. He is determined to make sure it doesn't adversely affect them.

Combs Doesn't Want Fame To Be A Negative Influence On His Kids

Of course, being able to bring kids up with the money and music he has made is a great benefit to them. But, as he said, there can be negative influences too. On the MeatEater podcast, her opened up about his concerns.

"We don't want them to be a product of their circumstances in a negative way, you know what I mean?" he said of his kids and his famous reputation. "You see that all the time. It would be easier for them to fall into just being a complete dirtbag if left unchecked," Combs says. "It would be easier for them to [think], 'Someone will come get my coffee when I'm done."

Growing up with luxuries can often lead kids into a weird silver spoon mentality. Luke Combs is worried his fame may do the same for them. Luke Combs says that because he is famous, his kids will be "closer to that finish line of being a scumbag."

But I think that his kids can grow up with a rich and famous musician like Luke Combs and still turn out fine. He is a regular guy outside of music, or so he says. As long as he is there for guidance, love, and the occasional clip around the ear, they will be fine.
