The rumor mill has been busy at work ever since Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman split. Since then, there have been whispers about Urban having a fling with musician Maggie Baugh, who plays in his band. A lot of people didn't think he would move on so quickly. But now, there seems to be evidence for some of the gossip.

Baugh dropped a song on Friday, and many fans believe that the lyrics refer to this alleged fling with Urban.
On Instagram on October 9, Baugh posted a clip of her new single, "The Devil Win". A promo video quickly followed, and fans immediately began to suspect that the song might be about a relationship. Baugh also shared a second verse on her social media, and fans went wild in the comments.
"Pour a vice top or bottom shelf / Same sh-t new day / That glass won't drink itself / That's what he'll say / 'Cause one will turn into two and more than too many / Then it's too late to turn it around / Dancing with the devil / It's a long shot it's a gamble / So don't put all your money down."
"How do you feel dating a man old enough to be your father?" one user commented. Others asked Baugh the same question, assuming that the song is about the famous singer. Regardless, she's getting a few good streams out of the situation, and there's nothing wrong with that.
How the Rumors Regarding Urban and Baugh Came To Light
Nicole Kidman officially filed for divorce from Urban on September 29, 2025. People began speculating when the couple wasn't seen together the entire summer. The last time they were was at a soccer game in Nashville, TN.
The whole rumor about Urban and Baugh originated with Keith changing the lyrics to his song "The Fighter" onstage, which is notoriously about his now ex-wife, Nicole. He changed the lyrics from "Baby I'll be the fighter," to "Maggie, I'll be your guitar player," and fans went crazy.
There are also people speculating about further drama, especially since Baugh is missing Keith's show in Nashville this weekend to play her own in Carmel, Indiana. Although this absence may be more a result of conflicting schedules than anything else, many fans noticed that Baugh was not present at the first show after Urban's divorce was announced. And there was no other show that she was present at that night.
Since neither Urban nor Maggie has spoken on the situation, there's no way to know if these rumors have any real truth to them. For now, we'll keep watching and listening. Chances are, if there's something they aren't telling us, their songs will do it for them.
