"On another note, we've been making these Megan Moroney records," Bush reveals, during a performance at Eddie's Attic in his native Georgia. "They're doing really well. No small feat there. We are going to be, first thing tomorrow morning, we're going up to Nashville and finish the third one."

Not surprisingly, the Sugarland founder is rightfully proud of Moroney's next set of tunes.

"And it's really good," Bush adds. "Holy smokes. And congratulations to her that her last song is No. 1 in the country."

The No. 1 song Bush is referring to is, of course, the album's title track. Moroney wrote the song with Luke Laird and Jessie Jo Dillon.

Megan Moroney's Next Album

Moroney has been vocal about her excitement for her next album, which she says will show a new side of her, while still giving the music her fans have grown to love.

"I would say I've still got the emo cowgirl staples on there, because it wouldn't be a Megan Moroney album without some heart-wrenching thing," Moroney tells People. "But I do think it's lighter and it's really fun."

The record likely includes her "You Had To Be There" duet with Kenny Chesney. But the 27-year-old hints there are a few other artists he would like to collaborate with, even though they definitely aren't country. She reveals she dreams of singing with Olivia Rodrigo and Tate McRae.

"I'm a fan of them," Moroney explains. "I've gotten to briefly hang out with both of them, and I think we could come up with something really cool if the opportunity presented itself."

Emo cowgirl style aside, Moroney especially thinks she and Rodrigo could come up with something spectacular.

"I would imagine that [our song] would lean sad and angry," Moroney hints. "I think we would crush an idea like that."

For now, fans can enjoy listening to her nostalgic "You Had To Be There" song with Chesney. The tune is already in the Top 40 on the charts.
