According to TMZ, Marcus Jordan, 35, fulfilled all requirements tied to his plea deal. It included writing an apology letter to the arresting officers.
With those conditions met, the charges are expected to be dropped.
Michael Jordan's Son Completes DUI Case Requirements
Marcus reportedly reached a deal with prosecutors following his arrest in February 2025.
He was taken into custody on February 4 in Orange County, Florida, and booked on charges of DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest.
Authorities set his bond at $4,000, which he posted the following day before being released.
Body camera footage later revealed his Lamborghini SUV stranded on a train track in Maitland, Florida. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., with the vehicle stuck in gravel.
Officers found Jordan at the scene and noted signs of impairment during questioning.
Police said he smelled of alcohol and showed slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, raising suspicions of DUI. A police report also states that Jordan admitted to being at a gentleman's club earlier that night.
He submitted to a field sobriety test at the scene but reportedly failed.
Legal Case Closes After Plea Deal Conditions Met
Officers also discovered "white powder" in Jordan's pocket, which later tested positive for ketamine.
Despite initially pleading not guilty to the charges, Jordan later agreed to a deal requiring several conditions.
These included random drug testing, a $1,000 fine, and installing an interlock device on his vehicle. He also had to complete 50 hours of community service and write an apology letter to the officers, following reports that he argued with them during the arrest.
In October, Jordan shared on Instagram that he had reached six months of sobriety.
While he has not publicly addressed the incident in detail, the update suggested a shift in direction following the high-profile case.
Meanwhile, Michael Jordan has remained active in the sports world through NASCAR.
His 23XI Racing team has enjoyed a strong start to the 2026 season, with driver Tyler Reddick making history by winning the first three races.
