If you've been following Dolly Parton lately, then you probably know that the singer has been having some health scares. Parton has been quick to tell fans that her health complications are "nothing major" and not to worry. However, many can't help but notice that she has continued to be absent from many of her scheduled events.

Her Goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, gave fans an update on Dolly's health scares while hanging out on the red carpet for Avatar: Fire and Ash. Cyrus co-wrote and sings the song "Dream As One" in the movie, which will play in the end credits.
"She's always gonna keep the show going," Cyrus shared of her Godmother. "The show must go on; she's just excited to get back to work." From her perspective, it sounds like Dolly fans have nothing to worry about.
Even Dolly Parton herself told fans something similar not that long ago. In a video message in October, she told her supporters, "I'm not ready to die yet. I don't think God is through with me, and I ain't done working." Dolly has been known to be a hustler in her line of work, so if she needs a little time to get back to feeling like herself, that's not totally out of line.
"I Didn't Take Care of Myself" Dolly Parton Tells Fans
Dolly Parton started to worry fans back in September, when she canceled a planned appearance at her Dollywood amusement park. She still showed up for the park in a video message, where she explained that she was recovering from kidney stones that had caused her to have an infection.
She later shared that, after losing Carl Dean, she had stopped being as health-conscious as she usually is.
"Back when my husband, Carl, was very sick, that was for a long time. When he passed, I didn't take care of myself," Parton revealed on Instagram. "So I let a lot of things go that I should've been taking care of. So anyway, when I got around to it, the doctor said, 'We need to take care of this, we need to take care of that.'
Since that first event in September, Parton has also postponed shows in Vegas and missed the Governor's Awards, as well as an IAAPA event for Dollywood. As nice as it is to see her on our screens, we hope she gets back on our stages soon.
