By now, most country music fans have become aware of the viral denim skirt malfunction that Miranda Lambert had on stage while opening for Morgan Wallen a few weeks ago. If you weren't, don't worry, you haven't missed much. Just this week, post-malfunction, Miranda Lambert graced the stage again, wearing a nearly identical outfit.

While opening for Wallen in Seattle, Washington, a fan in the pit took an up-close video of Lambert while she was singing her song, "Bluebird". The video gave fans more than they were expecting, and probably more than they wanted to see. Decked out in a black t-shirt with fringe and a short denim skirt, of course, Lambert was giving the audience not only the performance they played for but a show that they didn't. When Miranda turned around to show her backside, her denim mini skirt suddenly appeared to be a lot less skirt and a lot more mini.
"Now we know why the front row is so expensive," one fan commented. "She knows what she's doing...it sells," said another. Fans had a lot of thoughts on the matter in the comments, but no one had more to say than Lambert herself a few days later.
Miranda's Got It, and She's Gonna Flaunt It
On TikTok, Lambert clapped back with a video of her wearing the same outfit with her song "Little Red Wagon" playing in the background. As the camera followed Miranda in the same mini skirt that she wore in Seattle, the video played lyrics of the song, which were, funnily enough, incredibly applicable to the whole situation.
"It ain't my fault when I'm walking jaws droppin like ooooo ahhhh"
Lambert cheekily captioned the video, "I've been warning y'all about my backyard swagger since 2014."
Since the incident, Lambert has chosen to stick with her outfit of choice, bringing back the denim skirt for a show in Santa Clara, California. During a performance of "Little Red Wagon", Lambert played into her recent use of the lyrics, turning her back to the audience to show them her "backyard swagger" and grabbing the back of her denim skirt unapologetically. She then gave the audience a smile and a shrug because, I mean, let's face it, it truly isn't her fault that she's got it, and she knows how to flaunt it too.
Lambert will be joining shows on the I'm The Problem tour in Cleveland, Ohio, Foxborough, Massachusetts, Toronto, and Edmonton. One thing's for sure, Miranda Lambert certainly knows how to clap back at fans after an incident, and we know she'll always look good doing it.
