Miranda Lambert recently caught a U2 show in Kentucky, and the performance had quite the impact on the country star. Over the weekend, she chose to finish her Faster Horses festival set with a stirring rendition of one of the band's biggest hits.

Lambert stripped down U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" to wrap up her headlining performance. And the Michigan festival crowd absolutely loved it.
As you can see by some fan footage from the front row, the audience joined Lambert in singing immediately. After the first verse, Lambert steps aside and lets her band sing some, too. That includes Gwen Sebastian, who joins Lambert on backup vocals but has a promising solo career in the works.

Lambert recently caught U2's stadium show in Louisville and tweeted out her admiration for the band. As one of the premiere rock bands of the 1980s and 1990s, U2 still sells out football stadiums.
They also leave a pretty noticeable impact on their genre as they move along. From guitarist The Edge's swooping delays and tones to vocalist Bono's redefining what it means to be a frontman. That influence isn't lost on Lambert. Her picture from the general admission section of the show reads, "This changed my life. And my way of thinking. About music and art. About drive and heart. Thank you U2. I'll never be the same." Powerful stuff.
