Miranda Lambert Reportedly Has a TV Series Based on Her Music in the Works for Sony Pictures Television for Hulu

Country music stars do much more than make music. They often have many other lucrative business ventures as part of their signature brand. Several have bars in Nashville, for example. One beloved hitmaker, Miranda Lambert, is taking that branching-out philosophy a big step further. She reportedly has a TV series planned in conjunction with Sony Pictures Television for Hulu. per Deadline. The endeavor has no title as of yet.

According to the outlet, it's "]b]illed as Big Little Lies gone honky-tonk." The intriguing small-screen venture is about a pair of women who are buddies putting down new roots in a Lone Star State community. But the past they thought they left behind evidently resurfaces.The show is based upon the "Kerosene" singer's music.

In case you have not seen it, Big Little Lies is an acclaimed series that is also about female friends.

Who Will Be Behind the Scenes?

Lambert is going to exec produce the series with Shopkeeper Management. That organization represents Lambert. Another major figure who will be instrumental behind the scenes is Judalina Neira. She is slated "to showrun, write and exec produce....," per Deadline.

Lambert Is Nominated for Some 2026 Grammys

The Texas-born singer, 42, may add to her extensive collection of awards in February when the Grammys are bestowed. Miranda Lambert has an impressive trio of Grammys to her credit already.

She earned two noms in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for "Trailblazer" with Lainey Wilson and Reba McEntire, and "A Song to Sing" with Chris Stapleton. She is also contending for her writing on the track "A Song to Sing" in the Best Country Song category. Lambert's LP Postcards from Texas is up for Best Contemporary Country Album. All those nominations are amazing. Wins in any of those categories for Lambert will be stunning as well.

"A Song to Sing" is definitely a hot track to watch. The enjoyably disco-inflected tune is a perfect showcase for Lambert and Stapleton, who blend their vocals seamlessly. It's a co-write from Lambert, Stapleton, George Jenee Fleenor, and Jesse Frasure. Even the video has some sweet '70s echoes.
