Miranda Lambert took the stage in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada just two days after a gunman took the lives of 59 people and injured 527 at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival. Emotions ran high at the Highway Vagabond Tour stop, and Lambert opted to openly discuss Monday's tragic events with the crowd.

"This is not my typical Tuesday," she said to the crowd. "I do one job and that is a singer-songwriter and I get up here and I tell stories and I think that part of what we do is try to make everybody feel all the feelings, because that's what music is, it's medicine, right? It gives you a freedom that you don't have with anything else."
"Can you hold up a light for our friends in Vegas tonight?" she implored the crowd.
