She Was Excited About Doing Something Different
She posted this message. "Y'all I'm playing in the celebrity Ryder Cup match later this month! Thanks to my coach Dan Parker and my husband Brendan McLoughlin I'm gonna give it hell. My pal Luke Bryan called and gave me a pep talk the other day and he encouraged me to bring y'all on this journey for moral support. So Day 1 here we go! Cheers to trying new things."
Lambert took some hearty cuts at the ball. She did not always connect with the pesky white dimpled sphere. To her credit, however, she kept trying. The beloved star definitely seemed to get more comfortable on the green.
Lambert Worked Hard and Improved Her Game
Per the outlet, "Lambert shanked, slapped and outright missed the ball a few times...Miranda got better as she played, and her spirits soared. Even when a putt came up short, she retained her smile after knocking it into the hole."
The video depicted her and McLoughlin driving home. She seemed weary. "Day 1 of my 24-day journey to the Ryder Cup is complete," Lambert said. "I'm tired. Very mentally tired." McLoughlin says, "Now we're gonna go chill."
Not to worry, Miranda! Tiger Woods didn't learn everything in a few days either!
