I love Miranda Lambert's ready-for-anything attitude. She is not only a singer. The "House That Built Me" star is an equestrienne, she stands up for animals through her Mutt Nation organization, and also has a fashion brand. Lambert has decided to add a shiny new item to her resume. She took up the sport of golf!

Per Country Living, she acknowledges she is a novice who played less than two dozen holes of golf ever. Still, Lambert is getting her game ready for the celebrity Ryder Cup tournament this month. She has a couple of experts helping her - her hubby, Brendan McLoughlin, and her coach, Dan Parker. Lambert declared, "We are on the road to the Ryder Cup, good bad and ugly, come with us."
Lambert Is Bringing Her Fans Along for the Ride
She posted this message on Instagram. "Y'all I'm playing in the celebrity Ryder Cup match later this month! Thanks to my coach Dan Parker and my husband I'm gonna give it hell. My pal Luke Bryan called and gave me a pep talk the other day and he encouraged me to bring y'all on this journey for moral support. So Day 1 here we go! Cheers to trying new things."
She also posted a comical video. It depicted her sometimes well-meant but fruitless attempts to connect with the golf ball on the course. To her credit, Lambert kept at it and did improve.

Lambert is getting a boost from her fanbase. Many wrote enthusiastically on Instagram cheering her on.

Another poster added, "Hey Dan, make Miranda a champion golf player!"
A third person said, "keep grinding and have some fun! Golf is one of the toughest sports mentally to play some days it clicks and can't miss a shot or putt. Soon as you feel good the game says not so fast"
And from someone else. "I am as great as you are! It's all about the fun and hanging out with friends. You look good so enjoy and don't be hard on yourself."
Brendan, Lambert's husband. noted this. He "proudly reported that she 'got a legitimate bogey. She crushed a drive, it was awesome.'"
