Actor Ving Rhames required hospital treatment on Wednesday afternoon after collapsing at a Los Angeles restaurant.

Rhames, best known for his role as Luther Stickell in the Mission: Impossible film series, had been dining with his family at the time of the incident.
The medical emergency occurred at around 1:40PM, according to TMZ.

The report claims that the 66-year-old appeared to be "in and out of consciousness," prompting paramedics to transport him to a nearby hospital.
Rhames is now in a stable condition and not in any immediate danger. A spokesperson for the actor told TMZ that he likely became "overheated."
They added that he "will be fine," and that the hospital visit was precautionary.
"He's been released from the hospital and is heading home," the TMZ report added at 5:39 PM PT on Wednesday. "We're told he feels fine and was making jokes leaving the hospital."
An Extensive Career Spanning Decades
Since making his screen debut in 1985, Rhames has built an extensive and respected film career.
He has appeared in all eight installments of the Mission: Impossible franchise alongside Tom Cruise, beginning with the first film in 1996.
The latest instalment, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, was released in 2025.
Rhames has also taken on several other notable roles throughout his career. This includes appearances in Jacob's Ladder (1990) and The People Under the Stairs (1991).
He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Marsellus Wallace in Quentin Tarantino's 1994 hit Pulp Fiction.
In 1998, he won a Golden Globe for his role as boxing promoter Don King in Don King: Only in America.
His other notable work includes Con Air (1997), Rosewood (1997), Out of Sight (1998), Dawn of the Dead (2004), and voicing Cobra Bubbles in Disney's Lilo & Stitch (2002).
In 2025, Rhames appeared in the film Uppercut. His upcoming project, The Mongoose, sees him play a character named "Tanker".
The movie is currently in post-production without a confirmed release date.
Rhames married former publicist Valerie Scott in 1994, before the couple divorced in 1999. He married Deborah Reed in 2000 and is a father of three.
