I'm gonna skip over all the usual Morgan Wallen preamble (controversial past, chair incident, recent SNL storm off, etc) to get into the meat and bones. Sorry if you don't like Morgan Wallen, but people out there do, and we're a news outlet. If there's news, we're gonna cover it.

The singer sat down recently with Theo Von on the This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von podcast. Together, they spoke on a number of topics, including motorcycling, an activity Morgan Wallen has taken more seriously lately.

"Me, and Cody, and TD, and a few others, we all got bikes," he explained. Motorcycling with close buddies is something every man wants to do at some point in his life. For Wallen, though, this has become a frequent activity.

"I kind of had ridden dirt bikes and stuff a little bit, enough to understand my way around a bike already," he explained.

Why Morgan Wallen Enjoys Motorcycling

"I like it, because it's like, you got your helmet on. No one knows who you are," he explained, commenting on the anonymity.

"You get out there, you gotta focus on it, too," he continued. "You ain't on your phone, you know? You ain't doing anything else. You're just thinking about what you got to do on that bike."

I can understand the appeal. No more Morgan Wallen, or press, or fans. Just a biker with his friends. Solely focused on what's ahead, rather than what's behind.

Theo Von, being Theo Von, had to also make a joke about Wallen having breathalysers on his motorcycles.

"What if you had to blow to start that thing? What if you had one of those breath things on it?" Theo Von laughed, imaging a breathalyser-activated motorcycle. Given Wallen's past, the joke hits close to home, but Wallen found it funny.

"I'm surprised I don't have that on every vehicle I've got," he added.

"Shout out to Davidson County."
