Fatherhood can really change a man. Lord willing, you have a child when you're fully ready and you're mentally mature enough to take care of one. They take after everything you do so it takes a delicate hand to do it right. Regardless, that responsibility fundamentally alters how you approach the world. They aren't just another person, they're someone you helped create. For Morgan Wallen, it's clear that all the mistakes that he may have made in the past don't matter when he's with his son Indigo. Now, he's opening up about what it means to be a father while juggling his music career.

Recently, Wallen spoke with Theo Von on his This Past Weekend podcast. There, he opens up about what his little man is like and the experience of raising him. "I think it just gets better and better as the older he gets," Morgan candidly says. "I mean, it's always been cool, but you know. He's 4 years old now, he'll be 5 this year. Just a personality that keeps coming out and the relationship that you build. He's got a little sass on him. He's got a little attitude, you know, which I like. I like that spunk."

Additionally, Wallen giddily recalls an experience his own dad had with Indigo. It perfectly depicts the kind of rambunctiousness his son has, always willing to clap back. "Yesterday, my dad was telling him, he was trying to get him to eat. It's kind of a task to get him to eat, to sit still long enough to eat," Morgan explains.
"And my dad was like, 'Hey man, if you don't eat I'm going to put you in the bedroom and you're going to go to sleep,' or whatever. I don't know exactly what my dad said to him. But he looked at my dad and he said, 'I don't want you to stay here anymore.' I mean, it's just like hilarious, you know?" Morgan adds.
