Morgan Wallen Shares Message With Fans, Ignores CMAs Win

So, Morgan Wallen has decided to break his silence but refused to mention his CMA award win. This tells us everything we need to know about his stance on the topic.

Simply put, he couldn't care less, and it's understandable.

Morgan Wallen has only recently wrapped up his One Night At A Time Tour, which was the highest-grossing tour of all time. He performed in 87 sold-out shows, showing that he doesn't really need an entity like the CMAs to prove his worth.

It's been a while since Wallen has said anything publicly. Over the weekend, the commemorative tickets for his tour arrived for those who purchased them. The tickets have a digital display that plays a video, where he can address his fans. It's the first we've seen officially from his since he won Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs, and he still hasn't mentioned it.

In all fairness, I don't believe the commemorative ticket video would be an appropriate place to mention him winning the CMA award. But it does say something that he seems to be moving along like usual without any regard to the win.

Morgan Wallen Seems To Be Leaving The CMAs Behind

In the commemorative ticket recording, Morgan Wallen thanks his fans for attending the tour.

"I just wanted to say thank you personally," he said.

Wallen also promises to keep working, "I'm taking a little bit of time for myself, but I'm working also."

"And I can't wait to get back out there and see y'all at some point next year. Appreciate it," he signs off, hinting at a tour next year.

Again, this message wouldn't be the place to mention his CMA win. It does show him being comfortable with moving on, however.

Given his controversial history with the CMAs and his legal history, it's not surprising he's giving the association the cold shoulder. It's clear he'd rather reach out to the fans and thank them for their support rather than the association.

Morgan Wallen is a bit of an enigma, for his use of a racial slur and problematic history with alcohol hasn't seemed to impact his career. Although the legal battle involving him nearly hitting two officers with a chair while drunk has been pushed forward, he continues to break records in the music industry.

People either seem to denounce the singer for his actions, or love him for his music.
