Earlier this summer, sources revealed to People that Kidman and Urban were living in separate homes after 19 years of marriage. In late September, Kidman filed for divorce from Keith, who was on the road at the time. The split was relatively cordial, with each party retaining the assets in its name. This includes any royalties Urban might make from his music. Nicole was made the Primary Residential Parent of their daughters, Sunday and Faith.

Since then, Nicole has been at her home in Nashville, TN, finding new ways to spend her time. A close source shared what her life looks like now. "Mornings at Pilates, dinners with girlfriends, charity auctions — she feels grounded here," they said. "She loves the community."

Kidman is also busy with multiple acting projects at the moment, including  Big Little Lies Season 3,  Margo's Got Money Troubles, Scarpetta and the A Practical Magic sequel.

Kidman Is Doing Just Fine According To Close Friends

Although the main reason for their divorce was cited as "Irreconcilable differences", it's really unclear what happened between these two stars, who have essentially been together since 2005. Sources have suggested that while Nicole was "fighting to save" the marriage, Keith was the one who initiated the idea of separation, by moving out of their home in Nashville.

A source shared with People that Nicole was struggling in early October, but was surrounded by close family and friends. "She didn't want this. The entire Kidman family has come together to support one another." Kidman was seen on a walk with her sister, Antonia, on October 1, marking her first public appearance since the divorce.

Now, Kidman is keeping a positive attitude and is continuing to lean on those around her. "She earned this peace," the source shares. "She built these friendships. She's not abandoning them just because her marriage ended."
