NASCAR Tabs Elite Party-Animal Turned Comedian To Host Inagural ”Full Throttle” Daytona 500 Party

Bert Kreischer has been selected to host NASCAR's "Full Throttle" pre-party ahead of Dayton 500, with the party scheduled for Feb. 14, 2026

If you're looking to throw a raging party, Bert Kreischer is your man. That's why NASCAR has sounded him out to host their official pre-party ahead of the Daytona 500. Kreischer will be spearheading the "Full Throttle" event, which is in its inaugural year.

"You know Race Weekend in Daytona is the Super Bowl of Speed, and for me, that means going absolutely massive. So, I figured, why not build the biggest, wildest, greatest pre-race party ever?" Kreischer said.

The Daytona 500 is one of America's most-loved sporting events. So, building a pre-party around the festivities could be a masterstroke that sets up "Full Throttle" for decades of success. NASCAR is pulling out all the stops, too.

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Diplo have both been named among the musical acts. Country musician Ernest will also be performing for those in attendance.

"We're not just having a party; we're bringing a rock show, a country show, a comedy show, and the kind of BBQ and beer that would make a pit crew chief proud. We're stuffing all of that — the fun, the laughs, the meat sweats — inside the Ocean Center the night before the 500. It's my ultimate, dream NASCAR tailgate come to life," Kreischer is quoted as saying on the "Full Throttle" website.

2025 Is Turning Out To Be a Good Year for Bert Kreischer

It sounds like Kreischer has landed his dream gig ahead of the Daytona 500. However, that's not the only success he's had this year. In June, it was announced that Kreischer is set to receive his own comedy series on Netflix, titled "Free Bert."

Arden Myrin, Ava Ryan and Lilou Lang are all set to be Kreischer's co-stars on the show. Of course, this isn't the first time the party animal and comedian has worked with the streaming giant. In fact, he has five stand-up comedy specials with Netflix already. Nevertheless, getting his own show is a big step forward, especially if it can land right with the audience.

Notably, Kreischer is also the co-creator of "Free Burt." However, there is currently no date set for the show's release, although it's fair to assume that it will hit Netflix at some point in 2026, assuming there are no issues with production.
