In the latest development involving Ayesha Howard, she alleges that Edwards "intentionally" hid assets in an effort to avoid paying child support in California for their daughter, Aubri'.

According to multiple reports, Howard filed a request for order in child support at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday.

She claims to have "discovered evidence" showing that the Minnesota Timberwolves star has a "substantial and ongoing business and financial presence in the State of California."

NBA Child Support Dispute Intensifies Amid New Allegations

Howard alleges that Edwards maintains a limited liability company, AE Five Enterprises, along with a bank account in Beverly Hills.

She also claims he holds "registered trademarks and professional contracts with California-based companies."

With this newly presented evidence, Howard is asking a California court to reconsider her previously denied request for child support.

"This newly discovered evidence demonstrates that Respondent maintained a business, financial, contractual, and economic presence in California for approximately six years satisfying the minimum contact and purposeful availment doctrine for an out of state parent and nexus to support obligation in a child support proceeding," the filing read, according to the Daily Mail.

Howard previously stated in court documents that she and Edwards "spent time together in various cities while he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and during his off-season."

She said she discovered she was pregnant in January 2024.

Howard also alleges that Edwards reacted negatively to the news, blocked communication, and urged her to have an abortion.

In September, shortly before Aubri's birth, Edwards filed a lawsuit against Howard in Georgia, his home state.

He claimed that she had failed to complete paperwork granting her sole custody.

A paternity test conducted in December confirmed Edwards as the father. He later agreed in April 2025 to grant Howard full physical and legal custody, though the legal dispute remains ongoing.

Howard also attempted to file a case in California in February 2025, but that effort was unsuccessful at the time.

Edwards shares another daughter, Aislynn, born in March 2024, with his girlfriend Shannon Jackson.

He is also alleged to have fathered two other children, daughter Aris, 2, with Daja Carlyle, and son Amir, 2, with Alexandria Desroches.

The NBA star has not publicly confirmed whether any children aside from Aislynn are his.
