If you assumed that Nicole Kidman was in the doldrums after her breakup with Keith Urban, guess again. The Academy Award-winning actress, 58, is reportedly looking forward to the next chapter in her personal and professional life, Per People, a source shared that Kidman "isn't someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason."

Her breakup with Urban hit the headlines on September 29. A day after, she made it official and filed for divorce. The news was a real shocker. The glittering couple seemed happy during their 19-year marriage. They have two teenage girls, Faith Margaret and Sunday Rose.
The source added that the acclaimed actress "has a great attitude and feels very grateful for her life." There are "several work projects coming up" for Kidman "and [she] is looking forward to them."
Kidman's Realistic Outlook
She seems able to look past the pain and stay grounded and hopeful. Per People via Harper's Bazaar, in an interview that landed following the bombshell breakup news, Kidman said this. "There's something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through."
She added, "You are going to have to feel it, and it's going to feel insurmountable at times. You're going to feel like you're broken, but if you move gently and slowly — and it can take an enormous amount of time — it does pass."
She's Being "Level-Headed and Calm" Amidst the Public Upoar
Another source commented on Kidman's demeanor. "She's been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it. But she's surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it's out she's just focused on what's ahead and her girls."
What About Keith Urban?
The country singer is apparently playing it pretty low-key after the firestorm from his and Kidman's now-permanent rift. He scrapped a concert in South Carolina recently due to laryngitis. Unsubstantiated rumors keep swirling about another woman being in the picture, such as his much-younger guitar player, Maggie Baugh. Whatever caused the famous pair to go their separate ways, it will probably continue to be buzzed about for a long while.
