No, Shedeur Sanders Was Not Wearing a Thong During Sunday’s Browns Game

Shedeur Sanders has been asked some pretty weird questions since he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns. Now that he's been named the starting QB for the rest of the season, the quirky queries won't let up anytime soon.

But the son of the legendary Deion Sanders has learned how to handle himself when a reporter makes things uncomfortable.

For example, when asked if he thought his coach, Kevin Stefanski, might be "sabotaging" his career, he answered the reporter with another question: "So, you just want to start trouble, huh?"

At another press conference, Sanders was asked whether he liked how aggressive his coach was on 4th down. That's a pretty loaded question for any player, and he let the reporter know.

He replied, "That's a rude question to ask. I like being out there playing. We're not going to ever be up here pointing no fingers at no coaches. That's extremely disrespectful."

But this week, Sanders was asked a very unusual, personal question. And the person asking was his brother, free-agent safety Shilo.

Awkward.

What Was Shedeur Sanders Wearing?

A photo of Shedeur kneeling in the end zone went viral after Sunday's game in Cleveland against the Tennessee Titans. In the pic, it looks like he's wearing a thong.

After seeing the photo, several people reached out to Shilo. To clear up the speculation about what was actually under Shedeur's uniform, Shilo directly asked his brother if he was wearing a thong.

"You forgot I have a back injury, right?" Shedeur says with a laugh. "So I get my back taped."

But even the quarterback found it funny that it looked like a thong.

"That is crazy that it did look like that," he added. "That's funny though... That was called back tape, bro."

I'm sure everyone is glad that's been cleared up.

Shedeur Has Proved Himself on the Field

Despite being a late-round pick in this year's draft, Shedeur became the starter for the Browns this week.

While injuries and trades opened the door for the promotion, Sanders has already shown he can deliver as an NFL starter. With continued progress, he could become a fantasy football asset sooner rather than later.
