Oliver Anthony is realizing his vision for the future of country music. When speaking as a keynote speaker at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) conference, he introduced the Rural Revival Project, and it's already got an event lined up.

Contrary to his typical long-winded rants, Oliver Anthony delivered a powerful and concise speech about false idols and the power of the people. He spoke of encouraging the real leaders of society who are quick to call themselves "nobodies." He spoke of those who really dug in and helped in the Hurricane Helene aftermath.
Most importantly, he spoke of community.
When delivering his speech, he spoke little of the Rural Revival Project itself. He spent more time explaining the humanity on display in Western North Carolina. Anthony regaled his audience with incredible tales of the lengths people went to help that the media ultimately ignored.
He did mention that his Rural Revival Project is hosting its first event "on April the 5th in Spruce Pine, North Carolina for the first official gathering."
He was light on the details in the speech, but the website holds more information. His words are powerful and well worth a listen, however. They paint the picture and aim of what he's going for, and I don't want to abridge that too much.
Oliver Anthony's Dream Of "Reviving Rural America" Is Finally Beginning
Since Oliver Anthony distanced himself from the country music industry, he's revealed his dreams of starting a ministry. He has explained previously that he wishes to set up a new infrastructure for live music and concerts.
One that circumvents the current monopolies in place, provides live music from artists, and stimulates economies to rural locations that need the economic stimulation that the music industry ignores.
The Rural Revival Project's first step toward this goal is through its debut event in Spruce Pine. The website reveals that attendees to any Rural Revival Project event can expect live music, local catering, workshops, access to counseling, and documentary screenings.
Details for the debut event are sparse, but it's been shared that the event is happening to raise funds for the local economy and increase national exposure to the community.
