Tell us how you really feel, Oliver Anthony. The outspoken country singer had some harsh words for Beyoncé and her foray into country music. He completely demolished Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album, calling it trash.

Anthony released a very honest and very raw video on his take on the music industry. He said that he hired a management company to help him with his career. However, they suggested that he try to latch himself onto Beyoncé's coattails by supporting her country album.
They wanted him to share a social media post saying he liked the album.
He said, "One of the guys I worked with, he wanted me to make some stupid f**king post about Beyonce's country album. About how it was good... even though it was complete trash. It makes me just want to throw up, trying to listen the beginning of her version of 'Jolene.'
He continued, "Just total cringe. It represents how degenerative our society has become that a song like a Beyonce version of 'Jolene' can come out and anybody actually listen to it and think it not's complete f**king trash."
Oliver Anthony Blasts Beyoncé
Anthony ended up feeling pretty jaded by the music industry. He also thought the attempt to reach Beyoncé to be stupid.
"I was supposed to make a post... basically trying to associate myself with Beyonce in hopes of us doing some kind of song together," he said.
Anthony also continued, "How many people do that? How many artists do you follow on social media that have never even looked at their social media and you are just reading words and posts and things that were written by somebody you've never even met that aren't the artist?"
Compare what Anthony said to what someone like Luke Bryan previously said about Beyoncé, and it's night and day. Bryan's response was downright diplomatic compared to Anthony's
"It's a tricky question," Bryan said. "Obviously Beyoncé made a country album. And Beyoncé has a lot of fans out there that have her back, and if she doesn't get something they want, man, they come at you ... as fans should do."
Bryan also said, "It's a tough thing to say" on why Beyoncé got snubbed by the CMA awards. "I mean, listen, I'm all for everybody coming in and making country albums and all that. But just by declaring that, just because she made one..." he said.
