I feel like this year has been a bit of a crazy year for audience interaction at country concerts. You'd think masses of underwear being lobbed at Riley Green would make the top of the list, but the wild phrase shown to Zach Top may top it.
Videos by Wide Open Country
The rising Washington country singer was just getting a recent performance started before being met with a very explicit message.
A video shared to Whiskeyriff showed two fans near the stage. With the use of two phones, they spelled out the crazy message, "Sit on your face?"
Zach Top was just saying, "Y'all are wonderful tonight. I can tell that we are going to have a good time, and thank y'all for joining us for it." They held their NSFW message up as he was talking, and you can see that he caught the message before he was finished.
The moment he stopped talking, he started laughing and backed away from the mic. Doubled over, he turns his back on the audience as he collects himself.
"Some of y'all are having too good of a time already," he joked.
Zach Top Reacts To Insane NSFW Sign During Concert
The fans were clearly joking, although I don't think I've seen a more straightforward NSFW sign shown in a country concert. Zach Top clearly wasn't expecting to read anything so explicit, either.
It's worth noting that Zach Top is not single, and I'm sure his partner wouldn't approve of such signage.
The rest of the video goes on to show the two fans having a good time at his concert, having got a laugh out of their performer.
These fan signs are getting crazier and crazier. One that immediately comes to mind is one fan telling Lainey Wilson that she was his hall pass. Now that 2024 is wrapping up, I wonder what next year will bring.
"Sit on your face?" is probably as sexually explicit as you can get without using profane language, however, so I'm not overly eager for someone to top that any time soon. The last thing a performer wants is to feel uncomfortable on stage.
This one was pretty funny, though.
