Asking an artist like Ozzy Osbourne to pick out his favorite song from a repertoire as big as his is no small task, but he does have one that he considers his anthem.

There are few people who haven't heard at least one of Black Sabbath's songs. The rip-roaring rock band from the 60s has written timeless classics. Even today, lead singer Ozzy Osbourne is a household name. His antics and attitude have made him famous.
But, when Ozzy Osbourne was asked which song it was he considered his anthem, it took some thinking. But, his choice isn't a controversial one. In an interview with BBC Radio 4 back in 2019 he revealed his number one. "I think it has to be 'Paranoid' from Black Sabbath. I still play that song live on stage, I end the show with it... I just call it my anthem."
Over A Billion Streams And Counting
It's impossible to argue with the song choice Ozzy Osbourne made either. It currently sits at around 1.2 billion streams on Spotify. On top of that, the Paranoid album has reportedly sold almost 10 million copies according to Chartmasters.
The album, and song, put Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath solidly on the musical map of rock. Looking back on the album, Ozzy told the radio station, "I remember when Roger Bain, the producer [of 'Paranoid], said, 'Just jam something out, we need it to finish the album.' We just jammed and 'Paranoid' came out, and it was a hit single."
The band was one of a kind and produced a sound that shocked the world. The music of Black Sabbath was hailed as music of the devil, but there was no stopping it once it was out there. It changed the musical landscape forever, and love it or hate it, Black Sabbath was there to stay.
Ozzy Osbourne has a huge repertoire of music, but this one song is the one that sticks in his mind. With its phenomenal success, on the album that raised them to greatness, I expect he treasures it. It's a monster of a track too.
