Pete Davidson has candidly opened up about how much he earned per episode of SNL. Although it's a pretty good sum, it's nowhere near what most would have expected it to be.

Popular stars like Pete Davidson typically earn the big bucks from any production they're a part of. As celebrity stars get paid more and more, we'd expect the likes of Davidson to get paid loads for every appearance at SNL. That's not exactly the case, however.
New York Magazine recently asked SNL cast members about what they splurged their first SNL check on. Davidson being Davidson, he gave a cheeky and honest answer.
"My biggest indulgence after my first SNL paycheck?" Davidson parrots back to get the question across.
"Do you guys know what they pay us?" he asked in disbelief, "It's like three grand an episode. I think I got dinner."
It's hard to tell if he's being super sarcastic here by downplaying a weekly cheque of $3,000, but then again, that may not be a decent sum to someone of his stature.

Naturally, Pete Davidson isn't providing us with spreadsheets and bank statements. But if we apply "roughly three grand" to every single episode he's appeared in, we can work out roughly what he's earned.
The only exact stat I can get on how many episodes Pete Davidson has appeared on in SNL is from Wikipedia. I know, I know, but it's more trustworthy than its rep would have you believe. Apparently, Davidson has appeared in 159 episodes from 2014 to 2022. He did later appear as a host last year, but I imagine he got paid more for that.
If his salary stayed the same, and not counting for inflation, Pete Davidson has earned roughly in the ballpark of $500,000 from his many years of service with SNL. To be fair, considering how many episodes he's been on, I expected him to have earned much more.
$3,000 a week for the gig is no small sum, however. "I mean. 3k a week is a lot," writes one.
Considering this is only a show that runs for a limited time, and the fact that he had to pay New York prices for his accommodation, maybe 3K a week didn't go so far.
