Popular Brewery Goes Dark And Shuts Down All Locations

I will forever respect restaurant and brewery owners. There is no easy way to run or manage one. It's always steeped in stress. The number of horror stories I've heard is ridiculous. So it's always sad to see that another brand is shutting its doors. They are almost always passions of the heart. So you know the owners exhausted all options before closing shop. They love the game too much to do anything else.

The Tragic Tale of Track Seven Brewing

The brewing company that shut down most recently is called Track Seven Brewing. It had two locations, both in Sacramento, California. One was in Curtis Park, and the other was in Natomas.

According to their Instagram page, they called it quits on May 31st of this year.

They ended their Instagram and taproom presence with a heartbreaking message on social media, which read, "After 13 years, we have made the decision to close our brewery and taprooms in Curtis Park and Natomas effective today, Saturday, May 31, 2025. We sincerely thank you for your years of patronage!"

That had to have been horrible to write for the company. Outside of the two taprooms where they sold their brews in they also had a wide outreach of liquor stores and online vendors where they sold their beers. Luckily, some of those sites are still selling their wares. So those of you who loved Track Seven don't panic! You can still purchase their beers. If only, potentially, for a limited time.

Brewery Keeps Selling?

What is this, a ghost brewery? No, nothing like that silly, have you not been reading? As I said before, they're able to keep selling what they brew online! Websites like the mighty Craft Beer Kings continue the legacy where Track Seven's taprooms could not.

Actually, there is quite a solid selection of brews that the website still sells. From their Panic IPA to their Rule G and even their Daylight brew, to name a few. Unfortunately, with a lot of the cans being sold out right now, it's hard to tell if there will be any more made.

I hope that Track Seven can keep selling their beer through websites like these. There's no reason why perfectly good beer should have to shut down!
