Post Malone crushed his Thanksgiving halftime show for the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. The global superstar started his set with "Wrong Ones" from his "F-1 Trillion" country album, which came out in 2024. Malone followed up with "Wow" and "I Had Some Help."

However, it's what Malone chose to do after the game that kept people talking. The "Sunflower" singer took to the field and began spending time with his fans. Multiple videos emerged with Malone throwing dimes to whoever wanted to get involved.
"I'm from Texas... I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching the halftime show for years," Malone said before the game got underway. "It's a real honor to be a part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with."
Malone's decision to stay behind after the event undoubtedly gave fans another reason to be thankful. Of course, the fact that the Cowboys secured a hard-fought 31-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs likely helped, too.
Post Malone Recently Broke up With His Girlfriend
Post Malone likely had some additional spare time on Thursday. According to reports, he and Chrisy Lee, 20, have ended their relationship. The couple was first spotted together while on a trip to Rome, Italy.
The breakup comes after Lee had emerged as an important part of Post Malone's public-facing image in the last year. Furthermore, it builds on Malone's decision to call off his engagement with longtime partner Hee Sung 'Jamie' Park at the end of 2024.
As we all know, the best way to get over a breakup is to focus on self-care. So, spending a couple of hours on a football field, right after crushing your performance, to kick it with a string of grateful and excited fans, was likely a smart decision.
Troy Aikman Praises Post Malone Performance
During Post Malone's on-stage production, Cowboys legend Troy Aikman took to X to praise the Cowboys' continued halftime tradition.
"The Cowboys always crush Thanksgiving halftime show,"
Given the success of this year's halftime event, the Cowboys will be under pressure to build on their success ahead of next year. Who knows, maybe the right call would be to bring Post Malone back. However, with the current trajectory of his career, he may be on a world tour or something by that point.
