The Powerball jackpot, which had been rolling for about 3 months without a grand prize winner, finally got one today. At $1.8 billion, this prize money is the 2nd largest amount ever in Powerball history. Personally, that's a number I think most people wouldn't know what to do with once they got their hands on it. However, Powerball winner Susie Conerly seems to know exactly what it is she's going to use the money for.

Hailing from Guntersville, Alabama, Conerly has a plan for how she's going to use her winnings. Here's a hint... it may or may not involve removing a certain coach from the University of Alabama. "I tell you exactly what I'd do with the first $70 million," she shared in an interview. "I'd pay off Kalen DeBoer and get him the heck out of the University of Alabama. And then I'd take whatever else it took to get rid of the AD."
Alabama Fans Aren't Happy, and Here's Why
If you're wondering what Conerly has against DeBoer, it might have something to do with the team's performance recently. With a season record of 1-1, Alabama fans keep their expectations pretty high when it comes to football. After what many considered an "embarrassing loss" for the SEC school against Florida State, fans were disappointed. The shocking 31-17 loss left many wondering what went wrong, and lots of heads turned in DeBoer's direction.
This clip from a recent press release pretty much sums up how fans have been feeling so far, and how we assume DeBoer is feeling after the losses.
So, what exactly would it take to get the football coach removed? The former Washington coach has a $70 million buyout in his contract, so in theory, Conerly's offer isn't totally crazy. However, it's unlikely that a coach would actually try to quit at this point in the season, especially if it requires a new coach to be brought on.
But, since the chances of Suzie winning the lottery are around 1 in 292 million, it seems like maybe she's meant to be Alabama's saving grace. Otherwise, DeBoer's gonna have to kick it in to high gear if he wants to impress these angry fans, who aren't the easiest to please when it comes to sports.
