'The Voice' Plans to "Go Big" for Milestone Season, Aims to Reunite Blake Shelton and Adam Levine

According to reports, NBC is aiming to create a four-coach superteam for season 30 of The Voice, which begins recording next year

The Voice is aiming to go big for its 30th season. According to The Sun, the show is ready to spend millions on a dream lineup of heavy hitters. All four targets have a history on the show; however, they've never been coaches at the same time.

Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson are the four names NBC has drawn up as its desired wishlist.

"For season 30, they want to go big since it will be a milestone year," a source close to the situation told The Sun. "Though the lineup isn't finalized yet, since filming for 30 won't start until late Spring/early Summer 2026. There's still time for changes and still all of season 29 to get through. But the producers are trying to lock in a deal to get Blake and Adam back together; they've wanted that for years and think 30 is an opportune time to make it happen."

The Voice is among the most popular shows on television. It makes sense to build a superteam of coaches to mark such an incredible milestone season of the show. Of course, the logistics of getting everyone tied down for filming will be tough.

"The biggest challenge is getting Blake and Gwen back at all, it's most likely going to cost the show a fortune to make that happen," the source said. "And also booking Kelly on back-to-back seasons with her busy schedule and tough year. A lot of moving parts but they want to make it work."

Who Won Season 28 of The Voice?

Aiden Ross, 20, won the 28th season of The Voice. He became Niall Horan's third consecutive winner. As such, it's a hard sell to exclude him from a potential dream lineup of coaches, considering the sustained period of success he's currently enjoying.

Horan is no stranger to success on reality TV, having risen to fame by competing on "X Factor" in the UK before becoming a member of the global sensation boy band "One Direction."

If Horan returns for season 29 and secures a fourth consecutive win, he may force himself into the picture for a 30th season that's already shaping up to be historic.
