You probably know that country music icon Reba McEntire, 70, and her beau, Rex Linn, 68, intend to get hitched. Her fans are wondering what their nuptials will be like. Will the occasion be a big blowout with dozens of guests? Or an intimate, elegant get-together just for friends and family? Well, it looks like their plans are still taking shape, per People. The "Fancy" singer did drop some clues and hints, however. The joyous couple seems to be playing it by ear and are not hurrying anything.

She said this recently. "We're totally enjoying being engaged. Have no idea when we're going to set a date. Work comes first, so we'll see." McEntire added, "We're very low-key. We'll have friends and family and have a great time."

One thing is clear, though. She's head-over-heels for her Happy's Place fellow actor. "We're in the fun [phase]. We love each other, respect each other, love to hang out. We're best friends. It's perfect. I'm really grateful God kept him for the last."

Her Engagement Ring Is a Special Bauble

McEntire isn't sporting a huge rock on her ring finger. Actually, however, she loves what Linn presented her with. The beautiful piece showcases rose gold set with black diamonds, per the outlet. She said, "He had it designed from a jewelry store in Austin, Texas. She made my Longhorn necklaces also. He just knew that about me. I'm not a big diamond girl."

It speaks for the character and decency of these two exceptional people that they declined to make their engagement public for a very specific reason.
