“The Worst Thing He’s Ever Been Gifted”: A Fan Paid Ric Flair $1,000 for a Cameo—and Things Quickly Went off the Rails

Ric Flair sent a cameo message regarding someone's wedding, urging them to think twice before getting married.

Ric Flair is a wrestling legend. When he talks about action in the ring, or how to be successful in the industry, you would be wise to listen. However, when he talks about marriage or your love life, he may not be the best person to take advice from.

In fact, one Cameo user has found that out the hard way after spending almost $1,000 for a video congratulating his friend on his upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, what the user paid for is not what he got.

In the video, Flair, who is slurring his words and sitting a table in a bar, discourages the groom from going ahead with the ceremony.

"Oh my God, why would you get married, motherf----r?" Flair said. "It's the worst possible commitment you could do. Because as of the day you get married, 50% of everything is hers. I don't care how beautiful she is."

Flair has been married four times, and he's also had a non-legal ceremony, which took place in 2018. His thoughts on marriage are certainly rooted in his experience. Still, if you're offering a service on Cameo, you have to stay on script. Safe to say, the user gave Flair a one-star rating for his service and didn't pass the video on to the groom.

Of course, with how viral the video has gone, the groom likely saw it anyway.

Ric Flair Calls Truce With Hulk Hogan's Wife

Shortly after legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan passed away, Flair went viral for claiming that "street drugs" were the cause of his death. Hogan's wife, Sky, quickly pushed back against that claim. And, for a moment, it looked like Flair and his long-time friend's widow were set for a length war of words.

However, Flair has since moved to squash the disagreement, stating that he wishes to focus on honoring his friend's life.

"Okay, Sky! I Got Bad Information, According To You," Flair wrote on X. "I Should Have Never Mentioned It; I Have Known Hogan Since 1979. Let's Just Move Past This And Concentrate On His Legacy. Period, End Of Story. Let's PRESERVE HIS LEGACY Rather Than Dwell On Any Negative Energy. I Repeat- Hulkamania Forever!"

Flair, 76, has endured a turbulent year. He's gone viral for all the wrong reasons on multiple occasions. Nevertheless, he's still the entertainer he's always been, and will likely continue being himself, regardless of the pushback.
