Ride Share Driver Attacks Passenger After Refusing To Play Taylor Swift Music

If someone told me to play Taylor Swift in my car I would probably kick them out. But, a Bolt driver went so far as to allegedly attack his passenger after requesting to hear a little Swift on their trip back.

According to César Ayala, he was on the way back from a bar when he summoned the Bolt. The driver started chatting away to Ayala, but the conversation wasn't one he wanted to engage in.

Speaking about it on his Instagram, he revealed what led the driver to attack him. "Everything was going well until he started talking to me about what he did and his religious beliefs, making unnecessary and super uncomfortable comments."

Ayala apparently told the driver he wasn't interested in talking to him anymore. He was making him uncomfortable and he had had a few drinks and was tired. He asked him to stay quiet and put some Taylor Swift on instead.

The driver, a strict Christian man, allegedly refused to play Taylor Swift and started to verbally attack his passenger. He made inappropriate comments and called Taylor Swift a very bad word. "'In a very arrogant way, the man told me to put my music on the phone and get out of the car, demanding that I pay him for the trip I had already made."

Ayala pulled out his phone to record the attack made by the Bolt driver which further inflamed the situation. Suddenly, a knife appeared, and the driver allegedly hit him in the face with the hilt. They both ended up out of the car, but thankfully the altercation didn't go further.

Ayala visited the police station, but they refused to do anything due to the young man not having a medical diagnosis.

Two Sides To The Driver Attack

The daughter of Pablo Leiva, the Bolt Driver, also spoke out about the attack. She says that Ayala was provoking the man. "He started to make advances in other ways and the straw that broke the camel's back was when this boy touched him on the shoulder," the daughter said. "That's when he exploded, (my father) stopped the car, but the boy didn't want to get out or pay for the trip."

Who knows where the real story lies? All this over a littler Taylor Swift?
