Ivanna Ortiz of Orlando, Florida, is accused of firing shots at the luxury property. She used what authorities described as an "assault-style rifle."

Rihanna was inside the home at the time with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

However, newly revealed details suggest the situation could have turned far more dangerous.

Rihanna Home Targeted in Alarming Shooting Incident

On Tuesday, Ortiz, 35, was charged with 14 offenses, including attempted murder, and could face life in prison if convicted.

When she was initially booked into custody, her bail was set at $10.2 million, according to The New York Post. That amount has since been reduced to $1.8 million.

Photos taken at the scene show bullet holes in the security gate at the front of the property. One of the shots reportedly struck the windshield of an Airstream trailer parked in the driveway.

Following Ortiz's arraignment, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman revealed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were inside the trailer.

According to Hochman, the couple's three children, Rihanna's mother and two staff members were inside the main house during the shooting.

Gunfire also struck a neighboring property, where two people were present.

Suspect Arrested After Fleeing Scene

Authorities say the shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m., after which Ortiz fled the area.

Police later stopped her roughly three miles away during a traffic stop in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Sherman Oaks.

Investigators also revealed that Ortiz's social media accounts contained online rants targeting Rihanna, including posts that compared the pop icon to "the devil," as well as attacks on other celebrities.

"LA-based celebrities should not be additionally worried. Because of this in large part because of the response of the police," Hochman told reporters.

"The incredibly timely prompt response of the police on this sends that message to any person that is even thinking of using a gun in this community that they face arrest, prosecution, and punishment."

Judge Theresa McGonigle has since issued a protective order requiring Ortiz to stay away from Robin Fenty and Rakim Mayers, the legal names of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.

McGonigle also ruled that Ortiz is prohibited from possessing any firearms or ammunition. She must comply with several additional conditions as the case moves forward.
