On Monday, Riley Green had to visit the emergency room after stepping on a nail when out hunting. Considering how much snow blanketed the ground, there was no way he could have seen it.

He documented the process on since-expired stories on his Instagram. It's not known exactly where the singer was out hunting, but it was somewhere that received an onslaught of snow.
Green recently posted about his first buck from his new farm in Kansas, so he may have been hunting around there some more.
When out in the snow, he stepped on a nail that punctured through his boot and into his left foot, at the base between his big and second toe. It seems to have pierced right through. Ouch.
In the video to TikTok, he explained the situation with a laugh. "At the emergency room, stepped on a nail, impaled my foot," he aptly said.
"When I took my boot off, corn fell all over the floor. The lady came in here wanting to know where all the corn came from. It's from my boot, you don't want me to take this other one off, either. Real world problems," he joked
A fan page collated the Instagram stories and uploaded them to TikTok for easy viewing. He was in good spirits about the incident, although I'm sure he was initially in a lot of pain.
Riley Green Out Hunting Immediately After Impaling Foot With Nail
His stay in the ER was short-lived. A nurse told the star that he could go back out there when he leaves after being asked by a friend.
And that's exactly what he did.
Posting again to his Instagram story, he showed a video of him perched in a tree as it snowed, waiting for his prey. "Something might be wrong with me at this point," he wrote.
He then posted another video of his trudging through the snow, with the caption "What sore foot?" I suppose it's so cold out there that he's probably lost all feeling. Which I suppose has come in quite handy.
As suggested himself, it seems Riley Green has developed a strong passion for hunting. He is still making more music, and I wouldn't be surprised if it all revolved around hunting. And maybe a single about stepping on nails.
