Riley Green Modifying Lyrics On Ella Langley Duet Doesn't Help The Dating Rumors

Riley Green made a cheeky lyric change when performing "You Look Like You Love Me" with Ella Langley, which has only poured gasoline on the dating rumors.

For months now, Riley Green has been wrapped in two different dating rumors. Both with Ella Langley, thanks to their romantic duets, and with Megan Moroney after being caught vacationing together.

Country fans simply love love, especially when it's perceived between two of their favorite artists. Riley Green has previously explained that he understands why country fans ship artists together, although has recently said that he's "damn" single.

Despite all this, it appears that he's enjoying the speculation as he played into the dating rumors. Last weekend, Green and Langley struck the stage of The American Rodeo in Arlington, Texas. There, naturally, they performed their iconic duets, "You Look Like You Love Me" and "Don't Mind If I Do."

While singing the former, in Green's verse, he made a subtle lyric change that only fans of the track would notice.

On stage, a TikTok video caught Green say, "And boy, let me tell you, she was the prettiest thing I'd ever seen with bangs and boots." Notice it? He added the descriptions of "bangs," which fans can't help but notice must be a nod to Ella Langley.

Riley Green Reignites Dating Rumors After Lyric Change

Come on dude, they had almost started to simmer out. And now you hit us with this?!

Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts.

"Why he look extra happy? I hope he actually loves her," gushed one. He did smile pretty brightly when he sang the modified line. I think that's just because he knows what he's doing, as opposed to being helplessly in love.

"The way she looks over at him," pointed out another.

"Suddenly I want bangs," half-joked a third.

"Maybe they directed them to seem more homely with each other," suggested a skeptic. It's plausible that this was a calculated move from the powers that be, but I think Green threw that in for the fan service.

"Omg he loves her," commented a convinced fan.

I wonder for how long they'll drag out the dating speculation. I know he technically shut it down by admitting he's single, but I guess even that's not enough for country fans these days.
