We already know that Riley Green loves to shop in thrift stores. But the singer-songwriter, who can afford to buy pretty much whatever he wants new by now, says he knows exactly what he does - and doesn't - want to find whenever he goes thrifting.

"I like to go to thrift stores, try to find some hidden gems. And, a little antique store or garage sales," Green tells People. "I like classic stuff. I like vintage stuff...I don't like to go to those places where it's like a Hank Williams shirt and it's $100 for a T-shirt."
Green goes on to say that he really does look for something that has been worn, a lot.
"I like to go find something that was, like, somebody's old shirt they gave to this place," he says. "And I look for deals. That's what I'm looking for."
Green especially likes looking for deals with his father, whenever he can get away.
"When I go back to Alabama, there's this big flea market that they have on Saturdays and Sundays," Green tells Taste of Country Nights. "Me and my dad go up there and look for bargains and people's used junk that nobody needs."
Riley Green Is Eager To Return Home
Green is currently headlining his Damn Country Music Tour. The success of the tour has kept Green on the road for much of the year. Although Green is grateful for his fans, and his series of hits at radio, the 36-year-old admits there is no place like home.
"Around Thanksgiving, I get homesick and want to go down to the farm in Alabama and visit with all the family," Green says. "So I would like to say, doing as little as possible for about a month or two would be nice this fall."
Green, who recently bought a new home in Nashville that gives him a little more privacy, cherishes time spent with his family, whenever he can get away.
"I grew up in a really small town outside of Jacksonville, Alabama," Green reveals. "And both sets of my grandparents, all four of them, knew each other as kids. They all grew up with in the same area. So I'm really fortunate to be really close to all my family."
