Elizabeth Nichols Planned To Be A Lawyer But She Pivoted To Music Instead

Per a press release, she said, "I was planning to be a lawyer and studying for law school when I started writing this project, so it's pretty surreal to be putting out my debut EP and seeing 'I Got A New One' take off like it has. It's all very exciting. I hope these songs strike a chord in some way, whether it makes people laugh or the tough love I'm dishing makes them think twice about what is going on in their own lives."

She Was Scheduled To Perform At The CMA Fest But Stormy Weather Nixed That

Per The Tennessean, after Nichols' CMA Fest performance got scrubbed due to the weather, she walked around with her guitar and chatted amiably with fans. Per the outlet, she said, "These sweet girls came up to me and they're like, can we come to any of your other shows?"

She told them, "I have a show tomorrow at a bar. I don't know if it's a 21+, so I said, 'Let's just do a little chorus now. They sang with me."
