For most, hitting your 80's means retirement and slippers, but not for Robert De Niro apparently, as he comes clean about being a father at the ripe old age of 81.

Honestly, the fact that De Niro managed to father a child at 79 is worthy of study. He is the father of seven children already, and his latest, possibly not final one, is 19 months old. He has been bringing her up with her mother, Tiffany Chen.
The idea of having a child so late in life is daunting. Children require a lot of care and attention, and at the age of 81, there can't be that much left in the tank. However, De Niro has been a father many times throughout his life, and I guess it's just something he loves. Most people just look to their grandkids to fill the empty nest, but not horny old Robert.
De Niro's eldest is Drena, 53 who he shares with Diahnne Abbot along with 48-year-old Raphael. There are more than 5 decades between his eldest and youngest. That has to be some kind of record, right? He has plenty of experience as a father, but according to De Niro, his roles have changed over the years.
De Niro Shirks Diaper Changes At 81
With seven children, I have no doubt that De Niro has done pretty much everything there is to do as a father. I hope, as is expected of any dad, that he has changed his fair share of nappies, and mopped up plenty of sick. However, speaking about being a father at 81, De Niro says there are a few things that have changed.
Speaking to the Sunday Times about his diaper-changing duties he says "No, no, but I used to," implying that he either has a nanny, or it's down to Tiffany to take charge. However, he doesn't shy away from all of his fatherly duties. In the interview, he revealed that he was an early riser due to his daughter.
De Niro uses the early hours to bond with his daughter, spending some quality time together with a YouTube video and the morning feed. "I spend my mornings watching Ms. Rachel with her, and I give her her bottle." It's probably those quiet moments he enjoys as an aging dad, spending time with his infant daughter, and the space of a peaceful morning
