According to Hochman, Boodarian called police on his cell phone. They figured out his whereabouts that way. He reportedly even gave them his name.
Kaye and Deluca were both discovered slain on Monday, July 14 in their multi-million-dollar mansion. The couple is thought to have interrupted a burglary in progress at their home, per People.
People Living In The Area Are Worried
Hochman presented that information at a local town hall attended by some 200 citizens. It was held at the Encino Community Center. People have understandably been unnerved by the shocking murders of Kaye and Deluca. They apparently sought whatever information was available about the brutal crime.

Per the outlet, Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Marla Ciuffetelli addressed the concerned throng. She said, "We're having phenomenal numbers on crime reduction. That being said when two wonderful people end up dead in their own home, those crime statistics fall kind of flat."
The police have reportedly increased their presence in the neighborhood during the night. Still, people are alarmed.
According to ABC7, "'The crime is out of control,' Encino resident Deborah Palace told Eyewitness News."
The Loss Of These Two People Has Hit Everyone Very Hard
One individual who had met Robin Kaye spoke of her in glowing terms. Per NBC News, Encino Neighborhood Council President Josh Sautter described Kaye as "so full of joy and gratitude." He added, "You could feel her joy for life."
The killings have rocked the area where Kaye and Deluca lived. Sautter said, "There's no feeling of public safety right now. Everybody is so angry."
An investigation into the deadly incident is still continuing. Per the outlet, law enforcement is trying to learn whether Boodarian had any link to Kaye and Deluca.
